The Product Organization is a dynamic group of Product Leaders responsible for B2B shopping on www.baldorfoods.com, payments and financing solutions for our customers, plus supply chain enablement across our wholesale distribution business. Our Product Organization works across all aspects of our operation including Web and Mobile App, Customer Acquisition, eCommerce, Customer Communications, Customer Service, Invoicing, Accounting, Demand Planning, WMS, and more.
Job Overview: As a Product Manager, Financial Operations (Invoicing, Billing, Financing) at Baldor, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a product and user experience within our product and software ecosystem. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, data analytics, marketing, operations and sales, to develop and execute product strategies that align with the company's vision and goals. Your primary objective will be to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations and drive business value.
Responsibilities:
  • Act as a product evangelist, both internally and externally, by delivering presentations, demos, and trainings to stakeholders and customers.
  • Be a product leader with the Baldor team by staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management, and apply them to enhance our product offerings.
  • Work closely with the marketing, sales and operations team to develop go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, and user adoption.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, making data-driven decisions to maximize value and optimize resource allocation.
  • Define product requirements, specifications, and user stories to guide the development process.
  • Monitor and analyze key product metrics, such as user engagement, adoption rates, product health and business impact, and take appropriate actions to drive product improvements.
  • Develop and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and vision, considering user needs, market trends, and business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams during product launches, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment across departments.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer interviews to gather insights and identify product opportunities and gaps.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure timely and successful product delivery.
Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Computer Science), or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role, preferably in fields related to these roles – eCommerce, Marketplace, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, WMS, Payments
  • Experience with Product and Technology tooling is a plus, such as JIRA, Confluence, MIRO, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute product strategies, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and customer segmentation.
  • Technical background and familiarity with software development processes, preferably with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for innovation and a desire to create exceptional products.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
