Team: Sportswear
Reports to: Product Director- Equipment, Accessories, and Logo

As the Product Line Manager for Logo, you will be responsible for assisting the Product Director- Equipment, Accessories and Logo in bringing best in class graphic apparel and accessories to market that help amplify the impacts of the global Logo line, while elevating our brand, sport and environmental voice. In your role, you will be expected to have a keen understanding of the greater apparel and accessories markets, maintain all related systems and tools necessary to interface with our cross functional teams, and help drive the business forward with a highly collaborative approach. Most importantly, your contributions in this role must directly support our mission to save our home planet.
Supporting the Product Director, it is your responsibility to drive the development and delivery of a product line that increases revenue, gross margin, and market share with a strategic assortment of best-in-class products. With your understanding of the Patagonia product range and business, the market, and key stakeholder insights, you leverage Patagonia’s internal product teams and resources to assist in delivering innovative products that resonate with our global sales channels.
What You’ll Do:
  • Own and maintain all product information for the category, including line plan, pricing, product detail, and color information within the PLM system, as well as visual tools, calendars, and environmental metrics that are used by the Logo team.
  • Develop content for sales and marketing tools, merchandising strategies and other product planning needs essential for delivering seasonal product collections.
  • Deliver briefs and other forms of product communication to Design, Development, Marketing and Materials Teams.
  • In partnership with those teams, collaborate, ideate, and refine the designs, materials, colors, and graphics to achieve the targeted goals.
  • Engage the interdepartmental product team to drive workflow, operational priorities and actions towards deadlines on the seasonal Go-To-Market Calendar.
  • Select and maintain category sales sample set and manage SMS process.
  • Provide complete and accurate product details for marketing materials including catalogs, advertisement, POP, hang tags, and sales materials, to ensure the product story is accurately delivered to the customer.
  • Work with design and development to ensure all products are fit correct, executed per the brief, and achieve costing and margin targets, principles and initiatives.
  • Oversee and manage relevant and current product, competitor, trend and market information for Logo.
  • Manage allocated travel budget for tradeshows, dealer visits, market tours, and regional sales meetings.
  • Track market trends, review customer feedback, and understand the competitor landscape across Patagonia global channels. Articulate your learnings to help inform the global product creation process.
  • Responsible for creating content and leading presentations with global sales channels at Global Line Reviews and Sales Meetings.
  • Responsible for leading presentations and discussions with global sales channels, buyers and key dealers to gather insights that inform product and line development.
  • Deliver a globally-relevant line of best-in-class products that maintain/grow revenue and gross margin, decrease Patagonia’s planetary impacts and support Patagonia’s broader activism.

Experience You Bring:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Exceptional understanding of business and marketing objectives with a proven record of delivering against KPIs.
  • Experience with PLM or another Product Lifecycle Management System required.
  • 3+ years experience with Logo Category (Graphics, T-Shirts, etc).
  • Strong quantitative/analytical skills.
  • 5+ years sales, product or marketing experience in wholesale, retail or direct businesses.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers with experience in the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • General understanding of apparel construction and sourcing process.
  • Experience in the product development process, merchandising and assortment planning processes, strategic product creation process.
  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA preferred, but not required.
  • Deep understanding of apparel, outdoor industry, and active market (key consumer trends and moments, aesthetic, preferences, relevant brands, industry collaborations, brand history, etc.)
Compensation:
Pay range: $100,000 - $150,000 USD Annual
Hiring range: $110,000 - $125,000 USD Annual
At Patagonia, pay ranges are assigned to a job based on the location specific market median of similar jobs according to 3rd party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary for several reasons including skills/capabilities, experience, and available budget.
