Allen Park Test Laboratory Operations is seeking an individual with emission testing experience to join our organization. The prospective individual will be responsible for conducting Certification, Development, Evaporative and Environmental emission testing.

Product Development Technician
What you'll do...
Site Operation and Testing:
Maintain daily Operations testing schedule
Mentor new and junior Technicians in test process
Support Engineering, Plant Engineering and Site Support personnel as necessary to maintain operations
Maintain inventory and control of Site equipment necessary to maintain the operation
Support power-train emissions development, U.S. Certification, Homologation, and VE problem resolution
Support development of HEV & PHEV development / certification through the design of test procedures / facilities / equipment to efficiently and effectively develop the product
Support the development of new test methodologies required to meet emissions and fuel economy requirements for U.S. Government regulations and Global requirements as appropriate
Delivery of financial objectives of the department(s) and the team
You'll have...
High School diploma or GED
1+ years of experience in emission testing
Even better, you may have...
5+ years of experience in emission testing
Associate in automotive technology or equivalent
Powertrain experience preferred
Customer focus mindset required
Proven ability to handle tasks independently
Motivated/Self starter
Proven ability to participate and lead in a Team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational skills; proven ability to multi-task
Proficient in MS Office Applications
Ability to adjust to changing requirements
Flexible work schedule
Proven dependability and reliability
