Position: Product Developer – Packs and Bags
Location: Hybrid (Steamboat Springs or Denver, CO preferred)

The Eagle Creek Pack and Bag Product Developer will be responsible for providing the execution of design concepts through research, ideation, prototype, and development processes. Our developer will support and drive the development process including tech pack creation, sample management, quality assurance and timeline management.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Line Manager to ensure accuracy of all data related to seasonal offerings
- Drive the conversion of designs and product specifications into tech packs in an online PLM system
- Maintain clear and constant communication related to development with multiple factory partners from concept to buy-ready stages
- Partner with Design to proactively innovate and manage the styling, material and trim requirements relative to manufacturability, performance, quality, cost, lead-times and minimums
- Communicate to sales and marketing team any discrepancies or revisions to styles
- Execute special projects and other duties as assigned
- Oversee the delivery of quality lab dips/print strike-offs and communicate between design and vendors
- Monitor the on-time delivery and quality of prototypes, salesman and pre-production samples
- Supervise the accuracy of development tracking reports
- Ensure all documentation is maintained through multiple development stages, including product specs/tech packs, prototype notes and Bill of Materials
- Collaborate with the Design team to ensure successful execution of requirements and construction; problem solve as required
What You Bring
- Ability to take on additional projects with minimal assistance or supervision
- 3-5 years of branded backpack, duffel, luggage and/or accessories development experience
- Knowledge of costing, fitting, constructions and technologies relevant to function and performance of luggage, backpacks and duffels
- Must be willing to learn and grow within an intense, fast paced environment
- Ability to travel
- Strong understanding of design, development and manufacturing processes from inception through production
- Ability to interpret design intent and offer related development solutions
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication, organization, problem solving skills and detail-oriented approach

What We Offer
We offer competitive pay between $85,000 - $95,000 annually DOE, medical, dental, vision and a retirement plan. In addition, we offer 2+ weeks of vacation time, paid holidays, flexible work arrangements, and an employee purchase program.
We prefer this role to be in Steamboat Springs or Denver; but we are open to employees elsewhere in the Front Range or throughout Colorado.
