Producer (Remote) Jobs

Location: Remote but must be in the Rahway, New Jersey area

Job Type: Contract

Compensation range: $36 - 40 per hour

Our client in the pharmaceutical space is looking for a Producer to join their dynamic video team. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication and storytelling skills.

This will be a remote position; however, this person must be close and commutable to Rahway, NJ as they will need to be onsite as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Support studio and field production.
• Support virtual productions.
• Operate production equipment when necessary.
• Support video productions from concept through completion.
• Oversee edit/graphic sessions on lower-tier projects utilizing both in-house and external personnel.
• Support camera crews and professional and non-professional talent on production days.
• Interface with client and client staff as needed.
• Interview subjects on- or off-camera; provide guidance to non-actor talent to achieve excellent on-camera performances.
• Engage in professional development to continuously grow in your profession and remain competitive with outside services.
• Collaborate with staff and clients to develop original, thematic and appropriate concepts and scripts for corporate video projects, including training, communications and other purposes.
• Manage project budgets, resources and schedules for lower-tier projects.

Qualifications:

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent command of modern digital video production, equipment and processes, including experience with multiple video formats and understanding of video production terminology
• Portfolio required.
• Detail-oriented with good observational skills.
• Outstanding customer service orientation including professional presence and superior client relationship skills.
• Minimum of three years of video production experience with a minimum of two years of client management responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in broadcast production, film, communication or a related field.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility; must work well in teams and be comfortable both giving direction and receiving it from others.
• Experience level: Experienced
• Understanding of cloud based production environment a plus eg: MAM/DAM/PAM.
• Working knowledge of video editing Working knowledge of Adobe suite, with a focus on Premiere Pro, Media Encoder and After Effects,
• Ability to work effectively with senior management and production colleagues in a corporate environment.
• Ability to anticipate problems and take action.
• Initiative, energy and enthusiasm.
• Deep understanding of production positions and roles and ability to match crew & vendor capabilities with production needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including script writing.
