Job Description
Role Summary


This role supports GTT’s Procure-to-Pay process under the Global Procurement Department. Global Procurement is a new department within GTT and will involve process development/documentation in addition to regular responsibilities.


Job Scope/Supervision


This role will interact closely with Product Management, Engineering, Service Delivery and Supply Chain Teams. Regular interaction with other Operational and Engineering Teams, Accounting, Legal, and Finance Teams. This role reports to the Global Procurement Manager.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Work to educate internal customers on business systems and processes
  • Monitor and create Requisitions
  • Draft and ensure compliance with procurement policies
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships
  • Assist in resolving PO match exceptions, work with business teams to process match exceptions to keep invoice delays to a minimum
  • Draft and process signature files for various agreements (NDAs, MSAs, Consulting Agreements, etc.)
  • Review and negotiate agreement terms with potential suppliers


Required Experience/Qualifications


  • Minimum of 3- 4 years of experience Procurement/Buyer Experience - International
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint experience
  • The individual hired into this role may reside in the US or Europe and work remotely.
  • Organization and attention to detail is a must


Desirable Experience/Qualifications


  • Experience in IT/Telecom is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle is a plus


Hours/Travel/Shift


M-F, 8-5 flexible, with occasional exceptions for time zone accommodations. Minimal travel.

  • Interpersonal Relationships: Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
