Job Description

An area manufacturer is searching for a Procurement Director to join their team. You will develop strong relationships with vendors/suppliers in this role and drive an efficient and effective department. If you have strong procurement experience and leadership skills, apply today!


Responsibilities:


  • Source and validate new supplier relationships
  • Help to plan and develop a yearly budget
  • Communicate with vendors to verify the quality and delivery of raw materials
  • Ensure agreement with the vendor is followed and accurate
  • Analyze market trends and variables to optimize price negotiations
  • Lead and developed team, including regular performance reviews and annual reviews


Requirements:


  • Raw ingredient purchasing experience required
  • 4-year degree in business or a related field
  • Experience communicating with vendors and analyzing costs of materials/production
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • 10-+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage a team
