Procurement Buyer Jobs

The Procurement Buyer is a cross-functional individual contributor responsible for ensuring an efficient and consistent approach to contracting and supplier engagement across the business. This role requires project management, negotiating, supplier management, contracting, and superb communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Executes contracts across multiple channels of the business; liaises with business partners and legal teams to ensure all terms and conditions meet business needs and requirements
• Develops and maintains effective relationships across the business and with strategic suppliers
• Executes RFP’s for business partners, providing recommendations to the business to drive efficiencies and mitigate risk
• Ariba catalog maintenance, support sourcing events and supplier issues with invoicing, supplier enablement setup and monitoring.
• Monitor Ariba integrations with SAP to ensure data issues are resolved timely.
• Create and execute against strategic category specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Identifies areas of the business where opportunities for process improvement exist and influences change
• Support associate and supplier training to move additional purchasing and invoicing activity into Ariba to strengthen spend controls and provide systemic approvals.
• Travel as needed to support business objectives
• Day to day associate support and issue resolution, includes SRF and Incident management.
• Operational oversight of procurement technology tools including access, user interface and system integrations.
• Executes a proactive Supplier Relationship Management program to applicable suppliers that ensures alignment of activities against compliance expectations within BBW
• Develops contingency plans for supplier relationships where necessary
• Effectively communicate progress, issues and outcomes to multiple stakeholders across cross-functional teams
• Operates with a cross-functional understanding of BBW business needs and indirect procurement support activities
• Steady state support for procurement-related technologies, including Concur, Ariba and VNDLY.
