Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Process development for optical device backend production
2. Metrology development for process monitoring and improvement
3. Design, collect data, analyze and compile reports on a wide range of complex process engineering experiments for multiple products, within safety guidelines
4. Utilize techniques to characterize hardware, define methods and apply new technologies to characterize hardware, and/or perform hardware characterization on a wide range of complex systems for multiple products, within safety guidelines
5. Generate internal and external documentation for products, presentations, technical reports and generate process engineering specifications
6. Develop, plan and execute process engineering projects, within safety guidelines
7. Develop and mature processes that meet customer specs
8. Interact with customers to resolve a wide range of complex process engineering issues/problems
9. Design and implement new technology, products and analytical instrumentation
10. Identify, select and work with vendors and suppliers
Functional Knowledge
1. Gage R&R and Statistical Process Control
2. Data analysis using python / jmp / etc.
3. Hands-on experiences setting up new equipment’s and processes
4. Experiences in the following areas are a big plus: laser singulation, optical inspection, die bonding, micro- and nano-scale manufacturing.

U.S. Salary Range:

$116,000.00 - $159,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
