Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented Private Equity Analyst (w/ min 2 years exp) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in performing detailed financial analysis, market research, and investment due diligence. This role will also involve working closely with our CEO and COO, providing an excellent opportunity to learn and grow within the industry. Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough financial analysis, including the development and use of financial models for valuation, investment return analysis, and other financial metrics.
  • Participate in the execution of transactions, including drafting and negotiating documents and coordinating with legal, accounting, and other advisors.
  • Conduct market research to identify investment opportunities and industry trends.
  • Work closely with the CEO and COO to develop investment strategies, prepare investment memos and assist in the decision-making process.
  • Prepare regular reports on the performance of the portfolio.
  • Participate in the ongoing asset management of existing investments.
  • Assist in the due diligence process for potential investments, including analyzing legal documents, reviewing financial statements, and coordinating with external advisors.


Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience as an Analyst in a private equity, investment banking, consulting, or real estate investment firm.
  • Proficiency with financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills - including proficiency in financial modeling and valuation.


Salary - $75-80k+ - commensurate with experience.
