Our client is a San Francisco-based Real Estate Private Equity firm that is looking to add a full-time Analyst to their team.
They're a smaller real estate investment firm that has a vibrant, energetic, progressive and self-motivated office culture. This is a newly created role to aid their investment group in expanding their rapidly-growing commercial real estate portfolio.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the underwriting and due diligence process for all acquisitions, dispositions, and construction of multi-family real estate. The Real Estate Analyst also participates in asset management efforts optimizing asset-level financial operations to maximize investment performance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare presentation materials and offering memoranda
- Conduct and/or coordinate acquisition due diligence efforts or development transactions
- Develop, create, analyze and present complex financial models including cash flow projections, waterfall calculations and sensitivity analysis
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external investment committee presentation packages
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to create, analyze and present complex financial models including cash flow projections, waterfall calculations and sensitivity analysis
- An understanding of real estate valuation and/or capital markets
- Extremely acute attentiveness to detail
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
Other Experience & Qualifications:
- Transportation & ability to travel to various properties throughout the Bay Area preferred.
- Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop preferred
- Industry areas preferred are real estate, business administration, architecture, marketing or economics
- Experience with marketing, web-based platforms and technology preferred
- Advanced / Expert with Excel is strongly preferred
The work structure is currently hybrid in-office/remote. The company may shift to full-time in-office role at some point in the future, but candidate must be comfortable with commuting to their SF office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
