Principal, Clinical Solutions Jobs

Summary

The Principal, Clinical Solutions is accountable for leading client discussions to understand the business objective and providing strategic recommendations. The role requires generating insights from Prognos data assets in support of our commercial efforts and supporting Prognos clients through analytical thinking and assistance extracting value out of our data. The position requires extensive understanding of healthcare data and its clinical and business implications and being able to be seen as a strategic thought partner by clients.

Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally with a variety of different teams - Business Development, Engineering, Client Success to lead the execution of sold engagements with a focus on the Life Sciences vertical
• Lead strategic client engagements by providing clinical and data subject matter expertise to build long term partnerships
• Provide guidance on analyses needed to address client needs/questions and able to tell a compelling story based on the results
• Clinically oriented - experience working across multiple therapeutic areas. Understands treatment paradigms, marketed drugs, drugs in development, MOAs and lines of therapy.
• Collaborative, team oriented and able to provide mentorship to Associates
• Demonstrate deep data experience around different healthcare datasets such as Claims, lab and able to run the high level data investigations using data management tools
• Observe, communicate and model our core values
• Become a power user of the Prognos products for execution of both external and internal use cases and provide continuous feedback for features improvement by being the client voice and bringing in industry expertise

Qualifications

• Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem solving and decision making
• Skilled and experienced with healthcare data sets such as claims, labs and their applications to life sciences
• Advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Skilled and experienced manipulating large data sets using either SQL or other data transformation languages
• Educated at B.Sc level (preferred discipline in Math, Engineering, Business, Biostatistics, Health Informatics or similar)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 9+ years experience in healthcare space in a client facing consultative/analytical role for delivering products, solutions or analyses
