Position Summary:
The Pricing Manager is a key member of our finance FP&A and Sales team and is critical to Bonduelle’s ongoing growth and success.
As a business partner, you will drive the profitability of our Business unit by managing pricing and pricing analytics and will be a strong partner to our Sales and Marketing team. Business Partnership.
  • Offer insights, choices and alternatives to help the Chief Sales officer and the Chief Marketing officer to deliver or exceed the financial commitments.
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly performance management reporting and decision support
  • Manage the development of additional pricing and profitability analytics to bring value-added insight to the organization
  • Must understand the needs of two very different business segments: foodservice and retail.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the relationship and balance between what the market will bare and what the plants require to make a profit.
  • Extensive knowledge of costing principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Provide guidance on inefficiency areas (loss analysis) and recommendations by key Customers
Annual Budgeting.
  • Build a detailed annual budget for Sales/ Marketing in concert with standards and processes determined by corporate finance.
  • Develop new product pricing in concert with the Production, Procurement and Innovation & Development teams
  • Partner with the consumer insights team to ensure that a robust view of retail sales data (facings, velocity, ACV, etc.) is incorporated into customer sales reviews
Forecasting:
  • Provide insights into how (pricing, sales, revenue...) performance affect the P&L
  • Create monthly, quarterly and full-year estimates that incorporate known and perceived headwinds and tailwinds.
  • Identify Customer/SKU level pricing opportunities and provide recommendations for pricing actions to Commercial Finance Leadership.
  • Develop Customer Profitability models (Proforma) and provide analysis and recommendations for new product pricing, distribution expansion, and RFPs/Bids.
  • Identify and validate cost reduction initiatives including modeling and gross-to-net actualization for continuous improvement projects
Monthly Financial Close:
  • Evaluate and maintain internal controls; document policies and procedures and educate employees.
  • Support corporate finance in financial close as needed.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. A part of your career has been in a position of Sales finance for an FMCG environment.
  • Systems: JDE or similar ERP system experience. Tableau or similar reporting database experience
  • A passion for learning and a craving to work in a fun culture
  • Ability to understand the pricing process for developing solutions and implement action plans
  • Courage to make tough decisions, challenge current processes and to deliver difficult messages with professionalism
  • Pragmatic, customer-centric, persuasive
