Job Summary

The Pricing and Licensing group at MathWorks continues to grow, offering multiple opportunities at different levels. As an Analyst, you will make data-driven recommendations, collaborate cross-functionally regarding enterprise-wide pricing proposals, and assist with pilot programs and process improvement initiatives.


In this role, you will build upon current processes and assist in evolving our pricing and licensing model. Utilize your critical thinking skills, present your insights, and provide recommendations to the senior management team on key customers.

Responsibilities


  • Provide analytical support for projects and ad hoc data requests for other teams.
  • Tie detailed quantitative analysis to qualitative elements in developing key recommendations.
  • Develop detailed price/offer recommendations and facilitate consensus with key stakeholders.
  • Work cross-functionally with Senior Management, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to develop solutions and new models.


Qualifications


  • Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Comprehensive Excel skills
  • Intellectually curious and excited to explore new ideas and technologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Bachelor’s in economics, business, or related discipline / Master’s degree a plus
