The mission of the ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (DOCR) is transforming lives, influencing change, strengthening community. Our employees provide many different services to a diverse correctional population of juveniles and adults, such as therapeutic rehabilitation, medical care, physical plant services, education, information technology, and a variety of correctional security and law enforcement jobs responsible for security and management of individuals in the custody of the DOCR.
The Bismarck Parole and Probation district office has an exciting opportunity for the position of Pre-Trial Services Community Corrections Case Manager. The successful canidate must reside within 45 miles of the Bismarck district office.

Summary of Work
This position requires direct supervision of individuals placed on parole or probation. This includes completing intakes on offenders, developing case plans, and overall management of the case. This position is also required to complete pre-sentence investigations for the courts, parole investigations for the Parole Board, and other miscellaneous investigations. Work includes exposure to hazardous conditions potentially resulting in a serious physical injury requiring medical attention, and some lost time from work. Exposure occurs on a seasonal, periodic, or similar intermittent basis. This position has great deal of interaction with the courts, law enforcement agencies, Parole Board, Pardon Advisory Board, Human Service centers, and Social Service agencies.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree with a major in a behavioral science, education, business, or closely related field.
