Job Description
Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking qualified candidates to fill a Press Operator position at their VR1 facility located in Villa Rica, Georgia for night shift 7pm-7am. This position will report to the applicable Shift Supervisor as assigned.
Pay: 21.42 - $32.14 per hour depending on experience
Schedule: Night Shift 7:00pm – 7:00am on a 3/2 schedule
Benefits:

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience operating a machine is preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Monitor equipment and the printing process to ensure quality and adherence to food safety standards
  • Facilitate press make-ready, run and wash-up
  • Effectively troubleshoot print quality, register and technical specification issues
  • Demonstrates effective interaction skills to support team activities related to effective process decisions and goals
  • Set up and operating the press in an effective and efficient manner
  • Accurately document and record information
  • Resume containing qualifications is required for further consideration
  • Demonstrates knowledge and ability to perform quality control tests to ensure customer specifications
  • Ensures that finished product is produced according to customer specifications
  • Demonstrates timely and effective problem solving skills
  • Provides data to Prism in support of the manufacturing, sales, and materials information systems
  • Maintain performance numbers while producing good quality product
Internal Applicants:
  • No disciplinary actions beyond a written within the past year
  • Last performance review was rated “Performer” or higher
  • Must be in current role for more than 120 days
