Essential Job Functions

• Follow Safety /GMP guidelines.
• Keep the area clean and up to 5S standards.
• Sift and keep boric canisters full.
• Shut down the machine and clean up at the end of a shift
• Make adjustments to the press based on quality output.
• Weigh the tablets and inspect according to standard.
• Comply with PPE, Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.
• Start up the press and dust collectors and the beginning of the shift.
• Operate the Baldwin press according to procedure.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience as a Machine operator in the packaging industry.

• Production knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control and other techniques for effective manufacturing preferred.

• Must be able to verbally communicate, read and write in English.

• Basic mathematics skills required.

• Must be able to take direction and work unsupervised
