Job Description

The President is responsible for the overall leadership of the organization. The President builds the culture, and sets strategies for services, finances, talent management, brand development, and relationships with stakeholders, community leaders and partners. This person provides strategic leadership and vision to fulfill the organization's mission, improve and expand its services, and assure the organization's continuing relevance, growth, and financial viability. The President will support and carry out all activities of the Board of Directors and perform related duties as required or delegated by the Board of Directors. This person will serve as the ambassador and lead communicator of the organization and develops strong relationships to generate support for the organization, its mission, and its reputation.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies and set the overall direction of a certain area of the company or organization.
  • Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions.
  • Leading, guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of other leaders
  • Oversee ing and planning all company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Direct the organization's financial goals, objectives, and budgets.
  • Provide visionary and strategic leadership for the organization.
  • Maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards, and so forth.
  • Meet regularly with other company leaders to ensure that decisions of the organization are well thought out and timely.
  • Creating, communicatingand implementing organizational policies that support the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field required; Masters degree preferred.
  • Ability to know when and how to handle problems.
  • 10+ years of documented history of business experience and success throughout an organization or operation.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, including political savvy and a proven track record of civic involvement as well as dealing with all levels of Company personnel.Must possess strong leadership, managerial and marketing skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead the organization in solving problems and in pursuing continuous improvement.
  • Analytical skills necessary in order to direct and manage all aspects of organization including strategic planning as well as creating and implementing policy.
