The President/COO will play a critical role in driving growth for KennMar. The position will require a passion for our mission and the drive to source and develop impactful physical spaces that create meaningful connections for communities and consumers. The ideal candidate can roll up their sleeves and operate in a fast-paced growth company. Working alongside the CEO/Owner, this role will influence the vision of the business, and ensure execution is scalable with growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate at a tactical, strategic, and operational level, handling the oversight of projects that are integral to achieving the strategic plan.
- Adopt a hands-on approach to supporting daily operations in collaboration with senior managers and department leaders for the effective movement and completion of business objectives.
- Bring a pragmatic and defensible approach to business, understanding when to use outside experts and resources, and when in-house capabilities will suffice.
- Design the strategy and oversee the development and completion of real estate initiatives including scope creation, budgetary planning, ROI development, lease negotiation, defining project milestones and metrics ensuring flawless delivery of all aspects of project execution.
- Oversee and support operational day to day management in all elements of the operation, including, oversight of leadership staff etc.
- Manage key relationships and build a process to track and nurture key stakeholders, investors, and clients.
- Promote team integration as well as cross-functional communication and collaboration.
- Plan and direct KennMar’s operational priorities, goals, policies, practices and initiatives in accordance with the goals and strategic direction set with the CEO.
- Act as an extension of the CEO and information funnel, filter, and facilitator with internal and external stakeholders.
Required Education/Knowledge/Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Nimble business mind, focused on results
- Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity
- Experience in leading projects through influence
- Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives
- Strong background in managing Commercial Real Estate.
- Proven success in project coordination and project reporting
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or similar field
- Highly developed people skills and collaboration.
