We are seeking an experience Senior Estimator or Preconstruction Manager to take up a leading role within the Preconstruction department.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize expertise in commercial construction to lead and manage projects ranging from $1 million to $20 million.
• Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs and analysis of subcontractor bids.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Stay updated on industry trends, construction costs, and best practices to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.
• Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the Preconstruction department.
• Collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver comprehensive bid proposals.
• Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, and subcontracts.
• Mentor and train junior preconstruction staff, fostering their growth and development.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Engage in business development efforts, fostering client relationships and pursuing new opportunities.
• Identify potential risks, opportunities, and value engineering alternatives to optimize project outcomes.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, making adjustments as necessary.
• Lead Preconstruction efforts, overseeing all preconstruction activities and ensuring accurate project estimates and budgets.
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction, including new builds, renovations, and remodels.
• Proficiency in construction estimation software and tools.
• Proven experience in preconstruction management within the commercial construction industry.
• 5+ Years Lead Estimating Experience
• A track record of successful bidding and securing projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
