Porter Floor Technician Salary: $14.24 per hour.

Porter Floor Technician Shifts: Full-time 7AM - 3:30PM Alternating Weekends, Holidays.

Our Environmental Services Department is seeking experienced Porter for long term care nursing facility in Cedar Grove, NJ area.

Porter Responsibilities and Duties

• Removes soiled laundry from all assigned areas and transport to laundry department as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.
• Removes trash/garbage from all assigned areas.
• Performing stripping, waxing, buffing, and burnishing all hard floors and carpet extractions.

Porter Qualifications

• Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks.
• Prior experience in Environmental Services preferred; we will provide on-the-job training for entry-level candidates. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, families, clients, and other personnel and the public.
