This position is 100% in person at our Murrieta facility with no opportunity for remote work.

Job Responsibilities:

·Candidate to report directly to GattaCo Director of Engineering.

·Collaborate with R&D in the design and prototyping of a custom treated blood-plasma separation membrane.

·Track/record all work performed using Good Documentation Practices.

·Execute hands-on membrane treatment processes using common lab equipment.

·Evaluate treatments and/or process performance using advanced analytical equipment (FTIR, SEM, etc)

·Work with R&D and Operations to identify scalable treatment processes.

Candidate Requirements:

·Minimum of two years experience formulating and using water soluble polymers as coatings.

·B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Materials Science or Chemical Engineering or a similar discipline (not required based on experience).

·Advanced understanding of various polymer coating processes.

·Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, experimentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
