Chemical Technician Jobs

The Materials Development team is looking to hire a strong chemical technician/chemical engineer to help with the scale-up of Natron's battery materials. This position will provide a great learning opportunity within a small team on a short-term basis (3 to 6 months).

Responsibilities:

• Operates heat sealers, glovebox antechambers, rheometer, and overhead mixer
• Skills/Qualifications: Organization, Scheduling, Analyzing Information, Deadline-Oriented, Process Improvement, Safety, Inventory Control, Lifting, Data Entry
• Follows safety and process procedures
• Prepares slurry of powder material in glass mixing vessel
• Handles highly sensitive powder material in a glovebox environment
• Performs and documents viscosity, stability, and other material characteristic tests
• Records and maintains material inventory and test-related data into appropriate database sheets
• Maintains glovebox cleanliness and organization

Pay/Compensation Transparency:

• The salary range for this position is a minimum of $24 per hour and a maximum of $40 per hour.
