Polymer Scientist Jobs

Seeking a R&D Scientist for our client - a leader in the medical device industry who specializes in developing and manufacturing a wide range of products.

Responsibilities:

• Prototype builds to support cross-functional activities.
• Design and conduct experiments for process development.
• Preparation and analysis of experimental data using Excel and Minitab.
• Comply with GxP test environment regulations as well as SOPs.
• Complete all trainings on time as required.
• Maintain good documentations on lab records and research studies, write reports, prepare presentations and present routinely in team meetings.
• Design and conduct experiments to evaluate hemostat and sealant products.
• Design and conduct experiments to develop and validate test methods relevant to hemostasis products and sealants.
• Maintain a clean and organized lab, order reagents and supplies as needed and manage sample distribution to relevant testing labs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Degree: PhD in the field of chemistry, polymer science and engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, materials science and engineering
• Hands-on experience working with macromolecules; either polymers or biomolecules.
