Description: The primary responsibility of an Promotional Review Editor (PRE) in Promotion Integrity Operations is to proofread and copy edit documents classified as promotional material ensuring that BMS implements product promotion consistent with BMS policies, AMA style guidelines, and applicable FDA regulations and guidances.

Responsibilities include:

• Proofreads promotional material, disease awareness materials, and Important Safety Information associated with assigned brands/therapeutic areas

o Performs initial review of promotional materials (2253 submission packages) for marketed productso Offer educated opinion based on their knowledge of AMA writing style

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Assists with review of draft advertising promotional materials for Advisory Comment submission packages
• BS required; advanced degree preferred (MS, PhD, PharmD, or JD)
• Good interpersonal skills; ability to interact with staff across matrix partners
• Ensures requested changes are incorporated appropriately during Approval For Production (AFP) stage
• Detail & deadline oriented; well organized
• Assists with review of promotional layout of USPI materialsQualifications:
• Assists with Form FDA-2253 submissions and OPDP advisory comment submissions
• Minimum of 1-3 years proofreading experience or copy editing
• Captures consensus comments during live committee review meetings

• Master's or higher degree: 1 year (Preferred)
• Proofreading: 1 year (Preferred)
