Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position is responsible for all internal and external partners associated with assigned Integrated Delivery Network ("IDN") accounts.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate monthly and/or quarterly customer price change notifications to customers and/or Henry Schein account managers. Work with account managers to determine and update the appropriate market basket of items and select the criteria and metrics to be included in the reporting.
  • Monitor assigned account’s contracts to identify any changes that will significantly impact gross profit (“GP”) or pricing in order to notify internal and external partners.
  • Work with our supplier and group purchasing organization partners to drive contract compliance and system level contract parity for all locations that are members of IDNs and large corporate accounts serviced.
  • Prepare internal and external ad hoc reporting and forecasting analysis to provide guidance and recommendations to sales leadership.
  • Advise contract coordinators when accounts need to be linked to contracts and provide supporting documentation.
  • Diagnose and resolve pricing inquiries received from the sales team.
  • Perform various audits to ensure pricing integrity, accuracy of customer information, GPO/manufacturer roster, new account contract access and contract gap analysis.
  • Track account activity and trends to identify contract and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Work with our National Account Managers, Strategic Account Managers and Implementation team to prioritize customer needs, implement successful standard operating procedures, establish action items, and determine task ownership.


MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 1 to 3 years of related professional experience.


PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.


GENERAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• General proficiency with tools, systems, and procedures

• Basic planning/organizational skills and techniques

• Basic analysis and problem solving skills

• Basic verbal and written communication skills


SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Two years’ experience with chargeback contracts and/or GPO’s or equivalent professional experience

• Must have Strong communication and follow up skills

• Excellent computer skills, especially Excel and Access.

• Knowledge of sales plans, contracts, costs/pricing.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities.

• Ability to work independently.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.


The posted range for this position is $42,120 to $73,710 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc.
