Job Duties:

• Responsible for people management, materials, and assets of the Plant for the purpose of producing assigned products according to the production plan and customer requirements.
• Plant Manager is responsible for providing managerial leadership and direction to the plant manufacturing facility, maximizing capital and human resource utilization in attaining production objectives of acceptable quality within established cost parameters.
• Drives Operational Excellence initiatives throughout the facility and implements Continuous Improvement in support of plant and customer requirements.
• Leads teams in effectively utilizing the tools of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing to complete continuous improvement projects
• Meet safety, quality, and service goals for the Plant
• Develop and ensure execution of site budgets, P&L responsibilities etc.
• Implement capital projects and training programs to attain volume and productivity goals
• Champions employee involvement/engagement
• Maintain and balance production objectives with finished goods inventory objectives
• Handles performance reviews and provides coaching and development to all members of the leadership team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or other related field
• Minimally 4+ years of experience in a leadership role at a manufacturing, distribution facility, or operations environment
• Experience in continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, Transactional Lean, etc
• Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.) a plus
• Experience managing within a 24/7 manufacturing or distribution environment
