Lasso Communities is the property management arm of Lasso Capital, an NYC based investment company focused on acquiring manufactured housing communities, RV parks and campgrounds in the Southeast and Midwest.
Lasso is a Top 80 U.S. owner of manufactured housing communities. We currently own and manage over 1,250 lots across three states and are rapidly expanding throughout those regions.
Lasso Communities is looking for an experienced regional manager to oversee our business operations in an assigned region. The regional manager will be responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability. As a regional manager, your duties also include guiding management staff in your region, setting performance objectives, evaluating and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld, and preparing operations and financial reports.
To be successful as a regional manager, you should be able to lead and manage people, ensure operations run smoothly, and achieve revenue targets. Ultimately, a top-notch regional manager should be able to perform efficiently in a high-pressure environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring company standards and procedures are followed
- Seek and act on opportunities for improving efficiency, productivity and effectiveness within the region and company as a whole
- Developing and implementing business, marketing, and advertising plans
- Achieving business goals and revenue targets
- Planning, evaluating, and optimizing operations to be efficient and cost-effective
- Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, analyses, and reports of operations and finances
- Overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives
- Recruiting, training, and supporting general managers as well as conducting regular performance appraisals
- Managing internal and external stakeholder relations and negotiating contracts
- Dealing with escalated customer issues, incident reports, and legal actions
- Ensuring products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards
- Manage and maintain company Assets
- Maintain professional behavior
Qualifications
- Experience managing manufactured home communities and / or RV parks preferred
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a similar field preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage staff performance
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Must be self-motivated, independent and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma/GED required
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- 3+ years of management and leadership experience
