Job Description
Interventional Pain Management PA/NP position, Full Time
Long Island, Suffolk county, New York
Employer: Catholic Health
Medical, dental, vision benefits, PTO, CME reimbursement, tuition reimbursement
Duties: Autonomous office hours seeing follow-up patients after the procedures, taking a detailed history, performing a thorough physical exam, ordering and interpreting appropriate diagnostic tests and indicating interventional procedures for supervising physician and providing patient education on planned procedures. Some medication management, but very minimal narcotic prescriptions, largely an interventional practice.
Location: Port Jefferson Station & Commack office locations, St. Charles Hospital Port Jefferson for procedure days
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4, no nights, weekends, holidays, very minimal call
