Our Inova Physical Therapy Center Prosperity/ Fairfax is currently looking for a full time Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team of dedicated rehabilitation professionals working full time - approximately 32 hours per week. This position will work Monday – Friday and will need to work 2 evenings a week.

We offer a 1:1 patient treatment model, a formal mentorship program a commitment to continuing education and personal growth. We also offer student loan assistance along with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities:

• Complete progress notes that reflect patients' responses to treatment and actual performance as well as perform assessments as to status, relevant to the treatment plan, and eventual discharge needs/treatment summaries.
• Demonstrate essential skills in the use of treatment modalities, equipment and protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors and outside contacts.

Requirements

• No experience is required
• Virginia Physical Therapy Assistant License in good standing prior to start
• Must have First Aid, BLS, & CPR Certification from American Heart Association upon start
• Basic computer knowledge and communication skills
• Associates Degree from Licensed Physical Therapy program
