Job Description
We are seeking a talented and versatile Production Assistant & Stylist to join our Creative Team. True Brands proudly features ten in-house proprietary brands and is an industry leader in consumer packaged goods for the wine, beer, and spirits industry. This role reports to the Photography Manager and will be primarily responsible for supporting daily studio operations, as well as being a key partner in elevating each brand’s visual aesthetics through styling. This is a unique opportunity to work in a creative-oriented and fast-growing company.


This is a position where you will get to collaborate with a full in-house Creative team of talented photographers, video producers, and designers. You will primarily support our Marketing and E-commerce teams who showcase our products to a wide variety of B2B and DTC audiences. Daily tasks include conceptualizing on-brand styling direction for all photo and video shoots, managing product samples and supplies, sourcing props, on-set assistance with set up and tear down, and working alongside the Photography Manager to set schedules, maintain budgets, cast talent, and book offsite locations. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organizational and time management skills, multi-tasking abilities, a detailed creative eye, and a team player mentality.


This position will be based out of our centrally located Seattle office and will be expected to report to the studio to complete the required duties of the role.


Responsibilities:


  • Organize the prop and production inventory in order to maintain an organized studio.
  • Create strong and effective internal partnerships; collaborate with, listen to and value the opinions of others.
  • Work alongside the Photography Manager to set schedules, maintain budgets, cast talent, and book offsite locations.
  • Conceptualize styling direction for all photo and video shoots, and assist Photographer with styling sets for daily workflow.
  • Curate mood boards containing inspiration, taking into account market trends and major brand/product initiatives.
  • Run errands to source props and equipment.
  • Prepare and style merchandise, enforcing branding and identity guidelines editorially and commercially.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Team to maintain production photo standards and update style guides as needed.
  • Help maintain efficient workflows in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
  • Manage product sample inventory and collaborate with Product Developers to ensure sample accuracy.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Must be dependable and flexible to the varied hours of the job, based on the production schedule.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Able to work as part of a close-knit team to ensure quality, creativity, and consistency of brand imagery.
  • Comfortable standing/walking for extended periods of time as needed for shoot days.
  • Must have a great online portfolio.
  • Experience with bartending and food/beverage styling is a plus.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; highly self-directed, and results-oriented.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable form of transportation to complete assigned tasks.
  • Comfortable voicing new ideas.
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds in order to perform studio management and shoot production responsibilities.
  • Experience working in a studio setting and styling product photography.


Compensation:


  • 8 paid holidays per year

  • $65,000 - $70,000 base salary (Final base salary will be based on factors such as location, experience, and internal team equity factors.)
