Pet Specialist

We’re looking for a highly motivated, positive minded, and animal-loving Pet Specialist to help drive customer loyalty and deliver an amazing customer experience.

As part of the Pet team you’ll ensure an efficient, surprisingly delightful, and solution-driven experience for our customers by answering claim questions and educating about claim outcomes in a clear and concise manner.

In this role you’ll

• Build customer confidence in our brand by showcasing deep knowledge of our pet product
• Bring our values to life through your interactions and build community across our teams and company
• Flex your creativity by adapting your support style to meet each customer’s unique needs in a variety of situations
• Identify and communicate critical pain points of our customer user experience, with a solution-oriented mindset
• Interact closely with our Claims Advocates to resolve open claims quickly

What you’ll need

• Comfortable navigating multiple systems and programs at once (experience with Zendesk and Talkdesk is an advantage)
• Empathy, patience, and a passion for outstanding customer experiences and education
• Ability to work across multiple support channels, depending on business needs
• Prior employment in veterinary medicine (small animal) or pet health insurance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using a customer-centric approach to de-escalate and problem solve
