Terp Host Jobs

DEPARTMENT: Intercollegiate Athletics
RESPONSIBILITIES: A Terp Host is responsible for assisting with guest relations items at University of Maryland events. A Terp Host must demonstrate the highest standards of guest service, professionalism, and communication as representatives of the University of Maryland Athletics.
While quality guest service is the primary responsibility, the following are other qualities we expect from Terp Hosts:
? Create a positive atmosphere for all guests in attendance
? Know game day policies and procedures
? Respond to incidents occurring at the assigned position
? Be proactive in encouraging good guest behavior
? Exceed the expectations of Terrapin fans and guests

QUALIFICATIONS: To join the Terp Host game management staff, you must become a University employee. You must be at least 18 years of age and provide identity and work eligibility documents. This position is not eligible for University Benefits. This is a part time position.
SALARY: Salary is $11.75 per hour
AVAILABLE: Interviews will begin at the end of June and continue through the beginning of August. This job will not start until mid to late August.
