You’ll handle the case file from start to finish with support from our team of highly skilled legal professionals. You should have excellent credentials, a minimum of 3 years of successful personal injury litigation along with trial case experience, and an authentic passion for helping people. • Responsible for all personal injury litigation cases
• The court filing, scheduling, mediation/trial prep and case management
• Communicating professionally with clients, insurance companies, adjusters, doctors attorneys
• Organizing and maintaining personal injury files
• Drafting pleadings, discovery, and mediation summaries
• Attending all hearings leading up to trial
• Managing medical care of clients
• Trial prep and taking cases to trial
• Provide leadership and work alongside Paralegals and Legal Assistants to move the case to successful completion.
• Review and approve demand packages
• Supervise support staff on how they’re handling personal injury cases from inception to closing
• Effective problem-solving and consultation skills to resolve potential client concerns or questions
• Taking and conducting depositions
• Timely complete all assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Attending mediations and successfully settling cases at mediation
• Drafting demand letters
• Attending case management meetings to discuss case status and strategy
• Attending global settlements

• Must have exceptional communication and writing skills
• Must have knowledge of insurance coverage types and policies
• Must have recent jury trial experience and be comfortable taking cases to trial (Florida)
• Must be an active member and in good standing with the Florida Bar
• Must have the experience, skill, and know-how needed to successfully manage cases on their own and thoroughly work them up for a trial
• Must be efficient, effective expeditious
• Proficient in Microsoft Word
• Must have a minimum of 5 years of personal injury experience
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Must have strong analytical and writing skills
• Must be familiar with the Civil Rules of Procedure in Florida
• Must have a high degree of familiarity with drafting pleadings and the litigation process
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
