Job Description

Korn Ferry is currently hiring an Analyst to develop and drive efforts that improve strategic/tactical objectives focused on strategy and operational performance excellence. This critical hire will serve as the key liaison between executive, division and site (plant) leadership working remotely with frequent travel (up to 45%) to various sites to lead and execute projects and corporate initiatives. This person will lead by influence and cross-functionality to support Operations, Service, Finance/Procurement, Sales, Procurement, Finance, Product Management, and Human Resources.


Role highlights/Responsibilities

  • Must be available for overnight travel primarily domestic locations (USA).
  • Execute business transformation projects, such as restructurings, procurement initiatives, digital transformation, kaizen events, product line reviews, and business process assessments and optimizations.
  • Lead and participate in workshops.
  • Act as a company change agent and systematically drive the use of business excellence tools throughout manufacturing sites to achieve targets in business growth, customer experience, cash flow and productivity.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop, promote, standardize, and drive operating mechanisms which provide key performance indicator visibility, accountability, and action planning to continually improve business performance.
  • Analyze requirements and provide/recommend optimized solutions.
  • Business research and analysis, including financial analysis.


Background Requirements

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), ERP (SAP a plus), and RPA (robotic process automation).
  • MBA desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree Industrial Engineering, Operations, Science or related with 4 years' experience in continuous improvement, lean, operations excellence, and/or strategic planning. Preferred experience in M&A, process improvement, or Ops Excellence roles (including Manufacturing, Quality, and supply chain functions)
  • Must have a strong level of business acumen to include exposure to Finance (P&L) supporting complex manufacturing environments.
