Summary
Children's Health PM Urgent Care is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work for our expanding after-hours pediatric urgent care practices on a per diem basis.
Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assisting in procedures
  • Assessing pediatric patients
  • Obtaining sterile specimen via urinary catheterization
  • Performing pediatric venipuncture, IV insertion, and maintenance
  • Administering oral, rectal, intramuscular and intravenous medications
  • Remaining knowledgeable in pediatric pharmacology
  • Working well with the interdisciplinary PM Pediatrics team
  • Utilizing critical thinking
Qualifications
  • Active state nursing license
  • Pediatric Emergency Room, Pediatric Hospital Unit or Pediatrics Urgent Care experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support certification is required and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is a plus
  • Prior experience and competency with nursing procedures (not limited to, IV placement, urinary straight catheterization, and medication administration)
  • Pediatric experience is required
Full shift coverage required. Locations hours are from noon until 10 pm. Weekend and evening availability required.
