Overview

As a Payments Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of the company's payment solutions. You’ll work closely with payment application teams around the globe. The goal is to improve our payments platform to meet the increase of cyber threats.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the payment solutions (provide guidance and support to other departments) and work with external vendors and partners to implement payment solutions
  • Work closely with stakeholders to develop and implement a payment roadmap that identifies priority projects and outlines the resources required to deliver them
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive payment architecture strategy that aligns with Deutsche Bank's business goals
  • Analyze the company's business needs, design appropriate payment solutions to meet those needs, and collaborate with the Information Technology (IT) department to develop and implement the payment solutions
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the payments industry and provide thought leadership and guidance on how to best leverage these advancements
  • Identify and mitigate payment solution risks and ensure that mitigation plans are in place

Skills You’ll Need

  • Experience with architecture, design, and development of payment solutions (including the use of payment gateways, payment processors, and payment networks)
  • Understanding of industry standards and regulations, (such as PCI-DSS)
  • Experience in Computer Science, Information Technology (or a related field)
  • Experience with project management and leading cross-functional teams
  • Extensive experience in a similar role within the financial industry
