Client:Hospital

Job Title:Patient Service/ Access Specialist

Location:Remote (Fully Remote within NYC)

Duration:03+ Months

Shift Timing: 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

Pay Range: $25-28/hr on W2 (Without any benefits)

:

General tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Understanding the value-based payment metrics driving patient outreach
  • Reviewing relevant information in the Electronic Medical Record
  • Tracking the results of outreach calls made to patients
  • Helping to guide patients in need of medical services.
  • Communicating with patients in a caring, empathic, and culturally competent manner
  • Telephonic delivery of patient support services
  • Collaborative Coordination of appointments for patients at Facilities
  • Serve as a liaison between patient, professional health care departments and Central Office management

Educational Level:

  • Some college education is a plus (not required)
  • High school degree required

Knowledgeable:

  • Healthcare experience is a plus
  • Customer service experience is a plus
  • Basic Excel skills
  • Patient or customer outreach/interactions

Preferred Skills:

  • Organized
  • Experience meeting productivity targets is a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with Client and/or the communities in which it serves.
  • Ability to work some evenings and/or weekends to increase patient reach rate is a plus
  • Cultural competency and appreciation for health equity
