SUMMARY - Coordinates and provides concierge-style services to patients traveling from outside Maricopa County to SJHMC and SJWMC for specialized healthcare services. Serves as the liaison between patients, physicians, nursing, allied health, support staff, to ensure care is coordinated and culturally appropriate. Facilitates and coordinates payment arrangements, medical records transmission, interpretation services when needed, transportation, and lodging. Advocates for patient and family. Works with leaders to develop effective care and patient experience. Works with Marketing team to develop
outreach and positioning opportunities and tactics to a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree

5 years of experience in concierge-style patient services.

Able to speak, read and write fluently in English and a foreign language.

Strong communication skills both on the phone and in-person to effectively interpret and convey clinical and financial information to a variety of audiences.

Strong interpersonal skills to effectively navigate a matrix administrative, clinical and medical organizational structure.

Complex problem solving, strong analytical skills, ability to deal with ambiguity.

Computer skills and ability to use hospital billing and record system.

Interpersonal communications or equivalent. Care Coordination skills.

5 years of experience in concierge-style patient services, interacting with, advocating for, and troubleshooting patient pathways in a complex medical environment.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology

Degree in Medical Field or equivalent

Able to speak, read and write fluently in foreign language Arabic, Spanish, French and others as needed.

Strong communications skills both on the phone and in-person to effectively interpret for patients and stakeholders.
