Patient Advocate Associate Jobs

The Peer Review and Science Management (PRSM) group provides peer review services for the evaluation of scientific applications submitted to federal and state grant funding agencies. The Patient Advocate Associate supports the consumer reviewer team and reports to the Consumer Reviewer Administration Manager.

This position will support the recruitment and management of consumer reviewers and outreach to advocacy organizations. The position is responsible for entering consumer data into our proprietary peer review management system.
We are looking for an experienced professional who can support a professional team of ten.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn new skills relating to consumer reviewer engagement.
• Documented experience supporting internal team(s) required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 2 years relevant experience ( work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.)
• 40 hours per week/hourly position
• 100% Remote with occasional travel to peer review meetings to observe/evaluate assigned consumers or to set up consumer orientation meetings.
• Ability to utilize various databases as assigned. Strong interpersonal skills desired.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power Point, and Outlook) and Adobe Professional proficiency required.
• Ability to compile data, reports as needed. Strong writing/editing skills preferred.
