POSITION SUMMARY:


The Account Representative plays a critical role in building successful and sustainable relationships with our physician referral sources. The Representative is responsible for the facilitation and management of our referral sources to ensure strong partnerships as well as proper signing and return of the essential plan of care documentation (orders). The Representative will be responsible for effectively and consistently managing and following up on their designated accounts.


What you'll do:


  • Maintains collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues in order to effectively contribute to the working group’s achievement of goals, and to help foster a positive work environment
  • Acts as a liaison between providers and our clinical staff to facilitate timely return and processing of patient documentation
  • Conducts regular outreach to physician referral sources requesting for completion of essential documentation (i.e. signed plan of care).
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary
  • Educates referral sources on proper order return procedures and explains the purpose of orders when sharing mutual patients
  • Promotes/educates referral sources on the use of electronic signature tools
  • Data entry as necessary
  • Attends and actively participates in required meetings, including Physicians Orders check-in meetings, internal growth meetings, staff meetings, community events, etc
What you need:


  • Strong organizational and note-taking skills to manage patient documentation and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Associate’s degree required
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel for inter-departmental documents
  • Minimum of 1 years experience in a business setting
Preferred Experience & Education:


  • In-depth experience with a CRM solution such as Salesforce
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience and training as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferred
