JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The López-Uribe Labs seeks a research assistant to perform laboratory research on the pathogen quantification, and thermal ecology of wild bees. The position includes work in the laboratory, greenhouse and in the field. Previous research experience with bees, molecular biology and physiological assays is desirable. The person in this position is required to work in teams and may need to drive to field sites around Pennsylvania. This job requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
