Psychology Intern / Therapy Assistant

A limited number of autumn (September-December 2023) internship opportunities are open with Integrative DBT & Psychotherapy LLC. We are seeking highly motivated students involved in psychology, social work, mental health counseling, or psychotherapy.

Although graduate school students are preferred, extraordinary undergraduates are welcome to apply. You are creative, disciplined, self-reliant, and (most importantly) dependable.

This position is fully remote. It requires an adaptive individual with a "can-do" attitude who flourishes independently while also being able to receive direction and feedback constructively. You will perform a wide variety of tasks, including but not limited to: (a) shadowing & co-facilitating therapy sessions, (b) assisting in a myriad of administrative tasks, (c) attending various trainings, and (d) participating in supervisory meetings.

Preferences:

1) Experience with and/or a strong desire to learn Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

2) Motivation to become a private practitioner.

3) Deeply compassionate about helping people.

4) A trustworthy individual who is highly driven to contribute toward the health and expansion of the practice.
