Job Description

Social enterprise jewelry company currently looking for an individual with an interest in fine jewelry and non-profits who is available to work part-time (potential to grow to full-time) assisting with jewelry production in the Diamond District on 47th St. in Midtown.


Responsibilities

  • Execute production of designs by artist (from model to mold to casting to sourcing and finishing) in the Diamond District
  • Keep molds/ model system organized
  • Keep record of jewelry production costs in Shopify and Airtable
  • Basic photography and editing tasks
  • Fulfill orders and prepare line sheets
  • Inventory control
  • Assure quality control of finished product


Qualifications

  • Must be highly attentive to detail and deadlines
  • Photoshop and Canva skills required, and MailChimp preferred
  • Competent in digital photography (previous experience with product photography using a lightbox is a plus)
  • Experience using Shopify platform
  • Must have strong organizational, communication and time-management skills
  • College degree or a degree/certification from a related field is preferable



This role requires the individual to live within the New York City metropolitan area. The company operates from a home office on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.


This is a part-time 1099 (Contractor) position for immediate hire and offers $20/hour.
