Position Summary

The Education Associate will assist Education faculty, students and parents by providing answers to questions regarding programming or university support services. The position will be responsible for responding to the main office telephone requests and to provide information for front office activities.

Essential Job Duties

• Assist students with questions regarding fingerprinting, background checks
• Assist Students/Families
• Assist Education Faculty
• Respond to office/telephone questions regarding University information
• Assist with following all University processes and requirements- provide assistance on purchasing, Chrome River, etc
• Assist with program/student information that involves multiple university departments
• Provide information/action on university processes
• Provide information on Education programs
• Assist with office needs- phone, copier, materials
• Assist University
• Assist with Duval County Placements and requirements
• Help with work requests, orders and mail

• Excellent Communication Skills- written and verbal

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift and carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach
• Adequate hearing to communicate effectively in person and by phone
• Manual dexterity to efficiently operate a computer keyboard and other business machines

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of educational program requirements and Level 2 background requirements
