Part-Time Accountant Jobs

We are looking for an Accountant to aid in all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. This position is meant to be part-time, up to 20 hours per week.\ \ Accountant responsibilities include assisting in auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. \ \ Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we\'re compliant with all tax laws.\ \

Responsibilities

• Managing income and expenditure accounts
• Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
• Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
• Reconciling the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
• Generating the company's financial reports using income and expenditure data
• Completing analysis of the employee expenditures
• Track and manage AR and AP
• Keeping a check on the company's finances based on financial status

Skills And Qualifications

• Ability to work independently
• Experience with accounting software and data entry
• Analytical skills
• Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced knowledge and experience with spreadsheets
