- Review and close customer invoicing.
- Process work orders, technician time cards, post miscellaneous expenses, and account for discrepancies in paperwork.
- Partner with Chief Inspector to ensure tools and instruments are correctly calibrated.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain proper inventory levels to assure timely delivery on customer orders.
- Perform shipping and receiving functions.
- Process all warranty claims for applicable aircraft.
- Approve and code invoices for processing.
- Partner with Director of Maintenance on all quotes to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Analyze and provide backup to Director of Maintenance on P&Ls for maintenance and avionics departments.
- Understand customer’s needs in order to provide the proper parts.
- Serve a backup for Director of Maintenance as needed.
- Comply with corporate policies and procedures.
- Supervise purchasing for maintenance and avionics.
- Supervise direct reports including, but not limited to, scheduling, performance management and appraisal, and personnel issues.
- Maintain quality parts in compliance with FAA guidelines at a competitive price.
- Partner with Accounts Receivable to collect past due invoices and file warranty claims.
- Return cores as appropriate to vendor.
The following functions may be performed in variable weather and environmental conditions such as jet engine fumes, dust or jet engine noise. Must have ability to:
- Perform simple math calculations and apply basic concepts of algebra and geometry.
- Regularly walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
- Read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language.
- Frequently sit.
- Read and comprehend safety rules, instructions and procedures.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Report to work in a regular and timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with customers and other employees.
- Wear uniform and insignia as prescribed by the Company.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus practical knowledge of basic airframe and engine repair. 5 to 7 years previous experience in inventory management, aircraft maintenance, and repair parts. Working knowledge of applicable safety, OSHA, Hazardous Materials, and FAA regulations. Familiar with aircraft manufacturers’ technical manuals and data. Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must have basic computer skills. Must provide all tools necessary to perform essential job functions.
