Technology Partner | Enterprise Systems
Flexible Location
TNTP seeks a full-time Technology Partner for our Enterprise Systems team. This position will be based in a home office anywhere in the U.S. and is available immediately. Travel for team and organizational meetings a few times a year may be required.

The Technology team is a dynamic team which provides services to over 800 TNTP staff working on more than 40 contract sites across the country and maintains a cloud-based infrastructure and suite of enterprise-level systems of moderate to high complexity. The team works directly with internal clients to provide exceptional customer service, manages technology vendors, and mitigates risk. The Technology Team approaches work through a model of continuous improvement and governance models to support the evolving work of internal clients and address the business needs of a growing, virtually connected organization. What You’ll Do
As Technology Partner, you will lead the strategy for your portfolio by maximizing people and systems resources for sustainability and organizational growth. You will oversee TNTP’s strategy for the use of Workday, Adaptive, Salesforce and supporting systems. The Partner will report to TNTP’s Vice President of Technology.

We expect our partner to:
  • Manage vendors and contracts in close coordination with Senior Business Analysts for platforms.
  • Build and maintain relationships with TNTP senior leadership, the Vice President, Technology and other key stakeholders to inform future direction of technology and systems for TNTP under their leadership.
  • Work with Partner, Technology Operations and Technology Director for Data Management Strategy to ensure compliance with security policies and mitigate risk.
  • Bring strong business knowledge, including knowledge of organizational services and structure and industry trends, products, services and client needs.
  • Optimize the use of our enterprise systems through continuous improvement, collaborating with key stakeholders and Enterprise Systems team members to identify, develop and implement more efficient business processes.
  • Identify key technology priorities for TNTP to explore and conduct research and development that will position us to overcome current obstacles and anticipate future needs connected to your portfolio of systems and services.
  • Codify strategy into clear and actionable roadmaps, working closely with Directors, Senior Business Analysts, and/or other tech experts to define, scope, timeline and limitations.
  • Bring excellent management skills, including experience effectively managing diverse teams, building inclusive team culture, and growing and developing other technical staff to be successful in their work and career.
  • Codify the impact of changes to our systems and/or processes.
  • Work closely with senior leaders overseeing Workforce, People Operations, Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, Organizational Learning and Development, Business Development, Fundraising, Legal and Pipeline.
  • Lead portfolio strategy by forecasting, researching, planning, and selecting new ways to achieve business goals through technology and process improvements.
  • Lead governance models at the strategic level.
  • Lead change management for highly complex projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure sustainability through managing work, teams, and finances to ensure we have necessary resources to deliver on our goals and priorities.
  • Anticipate challenges and opportunities within your portfolio, adapting as necessary to support organizational impact goals and revenue and expense targets.
  • Effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences at varying levels of organizational leadership.
  • Ensure that TNTP’s enterprise systems for CRM, HR, Finance, and Programs meet the strategic needs of TNTP.

You’ll use your strategic thinking and planning skills, analytical abilities, and sound judgement to drive multiple, complex streams of work, proposing effective solutions to thorny issues and making critical decisions on the best course of action for our work. You will leverage practicality and comfort with ambiguity to balance competing needs and priorities across a variety of leaders and organizational contexts.
  • Proactively collaborate with and advise TNTP staff. You’ll regularly partner with staff at all levels of the organization, including TNTP leadership, and work closely with the Vice President, Technology. You will use your ability to unite teams and cultivate strong relationships with candidates, other internal teams, direct reports and leaders to establish yourself as a trusted advisor and advise on portfolio strategy.

Qualifications
  • Experience with a wide variety of business analysis techniques, including but not limited to process design, implementation and improvement; cost-benefit analysis; risk analysis; and metrics and key performance indicators.
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience successfully leading strategy, resources and/or enhancements at the enterprise system or data strategy level with significant organizational impact. Experience with Workday, Adaptive and/or Salesforce strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience using data to drive decision-making.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing teams to tackle complex projects or take on organizational change efforts.
  • Strong commitment to TNTP’s mission.
  • Experience providing development and cultivation to technical experts within your team; experience managing others preferred.
  • Strong contract management and excellent project management skills that lead to results and an ability to work efficiently and independently and prioritize effectively, adapting as needed in an at-times ambiguous environment of rapidly changing priorities, tight deadlines, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to communicate well, facilitate discussion, resolve problems, and understand the needs and desires of end-users and a diverse group of stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify challenges, assess risk, and proactively generate long-term solutions in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to work independently and efficiently towards goals in a virtual, fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

What We Offer
TNTP offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position with the potential for an annual performance-based bonus. The salary range for this position is $134,000 - $201,000 annually. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the salary range minimum and the salary range midpoint depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. We offer a comprehensive benefits plan, covering the majority of the employee premium for the base medical plan and subsidizing the majority of costs for a spouse/domestic partner and children. Other benefits include dental and vision plans, disability, life insurance, parenting benefits, flexible spending account options, generous vacation time, commuter benefits, referral bonuses, professional development, and a 403(b) plan. We also offer an inclusive environment where staff are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work every day. TNTP may offer a relocation stipend to defray the cost of moving for this role, if applicable.
