Part Time Cna/Hha

Baywood Home Care is a home care agency that provides nursing home level and hospice type care for our clients in their homes. Our goal is to keep our clients in their homes as long as they want to be there.
We are looking for skillful, flexible and reliable CNA/HHA's to join our team. We offer flexible scheduling and a friendly work environment.

• HHA's who are on-call must have a cell phone with them at all times and be ready to go to work within 15 minutes of receiving a call. The on-call HHA's are on-call so that they can fill any emergency or unanticipated staffing need. An on-call HHA in the Fairmont service area must be prepared to drive to any location in the southern Minnesota service area.
• The on-call position is specific to Baywood. Each on-call shift has a flat rate of pay that is paid to the assigned HHA whether they go to work or not. This means that when a HHA is on-call they do not have the option of refusing work. They are required to go if they are called, because they are being paid to be on-call, and paid to be available to go to work immediately if called. (Of course HHA's are paid separately for any work they are sent to).

On Call Shifts Available

• Sat/Sun 7am-7am
• M-F 7am-7pm

This Position Offers Pay Starting At

• Mileage for client related errands paid at .66 cents per mile (if using your own vehicle)
• $18.00 to $20.00 per hour shift differential pay of $2.00 or $3.00 per hour, pending day of the week worked and client(s) needs
• $100.00 per 24 hour shift (holidays are 24 hour shifts paid at $150.00)
• $50.00 per 12 hour shift (7a-7p)
• Pager bonus between $10.00 and $30.00 pending distance of the client from your home.

Requirements

• 1 year working as a CERTIFIED CNA/ HHA or other similar certification related to this field that is verifiable - this certification DOES NOT need to be current. (we will NOT accept DSP work as experience)
• Must be able to pass a driving record check.
• Must be able to pass a federal background check.
• Drivers License with reliable mode of transportation and insurance.
