Harmony Gardens Assisted Living, a beautiful, brand-new building in Maplewood, MN, is hiring compassionate Caregivers (CNA, HHA, PCA) to join our team. We offer on-the-job training, and generous benefits.

Our building will open in December. We will be only 2 miles away from Maplewood Mall, beautiful parks (Hazelwood and Harvest Park), and a variety of dining options. Our new state-of-the-art senior living community, Harmony Gardens, will include independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, and long-term care options.

There are Part-Time and Full-Time, benefit eligible positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend and holiday.

PT Hours: 6:00am-1:00pm (AM Shift)

FT Hours: 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm (PM Shift)

What does a Caregiver do?

• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Caregiver require?

• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• A passion for geriatric care.
